  • I absolutely loved this course; I thought it was very worthwhile and very interesting. I gained a great deal of experience and knowledge in looking after older people. My nanny was in a Nursing Home and I witnessed first hand the work that the caregivers put in in order to take care of her, and it inspired me to work in the area. I realised upon completing this course how much is involved in caregiving for the elderly and I'm delighted to now be working as a caregiver in the same nursing home where I completed my course work experience.

  • I'm really enjoying this course, it is something very different. I very much enjoy the on-the-job working and learning environment at Waterford Crystal. Before starting this traineeship, I completed a Milling and Turning Course with WWETB and I think that experience has really stood to me too.   • This course offered a tremendous amount of information and all of the skills required to work in a healthcare role. All of the modules taught me the information I need, I learned a lot and I realise how valuable this course is in-particular given the ageing population of Ireland the huge demand that there is for qualified caregivers. I would recommend this course to others who want to work in this area; it also offers an excellent opportunity to add further modules in order to gain qualifications in order to work with those with a disability, mental health or nutrition.
