Learner Responsibilities
As a learner at Waterford and Wexford Training Centre you are expected to:
- Behave responsibly, respectfully and safely at all times
- Ensure your actions do not negatively affect other learners
- Attend all classes and exams on time
- Obey the rules and guidelines of exams and tests
- Have full attendance for all of your classes and training
- Inform your teacher, trainer or instructor if you are unable to attend class
- Understand and follow the Absence and Sickness Policy
- Complete all homework that is assigned to you
- Complete and submit all assignments, learning activities and projects on time
- Complete the full training programme of your course
- Identify and inform your tutor, trainer or instructor of any additional support, which relates to a disability or specific need, that will help you complete the course
- Keep your tutor, trainer or instructor informed about any change to your contact details
- Keep your tutor, trainer or instructor informed about any accidents or unsafe practices you witness
- Understand and follow the Computer Resources and Internet Policy, which prevents learners from accessing, sending or storing unlawful and inappropriate material on training location equipment
- Understand it is not tolerated to be under the influence, or consume, drugs or alcohol while attending training or at a training location
- Understand it is not tolerated to use or possess offensive weapons at a training location
- Understand and obey all of the rules at Waterford and Wexford Training Centre.
